David LaChapelle Photographs Travis Scott’s “Astroworld” Album Covers

Aug. 1, 2018

Travis Scott has shared two official album covers for “Astroworld”, just days ahead of its release.

As per his Instagram, the rapper unveiled two hyperreal images shot by famed photographer, David LaChapelle. Both covers feature a golden sculpture of Scott’s head located in a theme park, presumably in reference to the record’s title.

The first image, shared yesterday, depicts a bright advertisement-style picture, featuring children and families entering into a theme park. The second, which embodies a darker, after-hours tone, features burning cars, burlesque dancers, and a slight nod to his debut studio album Rodeo as per the figurine.
