Camper has commissioned Coco Capitán to create a pair of shoes and a backpack inspired by her long-term passion for the sea and sailors. As part of the launch of the collaboration, Coco Capitán designed an immersive store installation at their Milan flagship store. The shoe design by Coco Capitán is called the “Lost Sailor Shoe,” a variation on the Brutus shape, in black and blue leather with laces inspired by sail ropes. On the back of the shoe, a blue strip is actually upcycled from the North Sails V-Series and gives character to the piece, which mixes workwear with an arty twist. Each pair of shoes is accompanied by a Camper x Coco Capitán backpack made of the same fabric of spinnaker that has been embroidered, cut and sewn together. More
