It was almost by chance, strolling around the Dodecanese Greek islands, that photographer François Halard discovers lost among pine trees, the abandoned city of Campochiaro, renamed Eleousa. A ghost town, witness to the will of the dictator Benito Mussolini Italianize of the region in the 1930s.
