Photography by François Halard for WSJ Magazine

François Halard photographed the vibrant details of San Paolo Converso, a Milanese Church for March 2014 issue of WSJ Magazine. Halard describes the experience, “pleasurable, but challenging,” due to its numerous interesting facets. The 16th-century structure, which was recently adapted by Massimiliano Locatelli into offices for his architecture firm, CLS Architetti, “was extaordinary because of its juxtaposition of ancient and modern architecture,” says Halard.
