Wes Lang Reworks The Great Frog’s Reaper & Native American Chief Rings in 18K Gold

Jul. 16, 2019

The Great Frog has enlisted Wes Lang to collaborate on two Dover Street Market London-exclusive rings, channeling the pair’s affiliation with dark motifs such as skulls and old American iconography.

Wes Lang was the artist brought in by Kanye West to design merch for the YEEZUS tour and Wyoming capsule. He began working in a tattoo shop when he was younger and today you can commonly find flags, skulls, cowboys, eagles and other nods to Americana in his works.

In The Great Frog’s collaboration, the artist takes similar designs from those he created for Dover Street Market London’s tenth anniversary and has given them an even more premium update. The Native American Chief ring is made from 18K yellow gold and features a carved-out headpiece featuring an array of inlaid fine jewels such as diamonds.

Further tapping into The Great Frog’s rock ‘n’ roll roots is the Reaper ring. It is handmade from .925 sterling silver and 18K mixed gold, sporting a rose gold and silver scythe and a yellow gold ring.

Both rings are currently available exclusively via the Dover Street Market London E-Shop for £20,000 GBP (approx. $25,000 USD).
