Creative Exchange Agency Presents Online Viewing Room, “Existential Time”

Apr. 29, 2020

By Eric Brain

Online viewing rooms have become the norm in the art world as of late, and now the Creative Exchange Agency presents its multi-artist offering, “Existential Time.”

CXA enlisted Friedrich Kunath, Anthony Goicolea, Kehinde Wiley, Jeff Burton, and McDermott & McGough to explore art in the current global climate, specifically sustainability, diversity, inclusivity, and social action. “Existential Time” is the fourth installment in the online viewing room series, and looks closer at time — understanding the lack, limits and surplus of meaning within time and life.

The collection also looks to understand the present, offering photography, paintings and mix-media works that provide reflection. Friedrich Kunath’s works are romantic and nostalgic, referencing everything from the band Oasis to nature, while photographer Jeff Burton captures moments of time that become ambiguous.

Take a look at a selection of the CXA artist’s work for “Existential Time” in the gallery above, and check out the full online viewing room on the Creative Exchange Agency’s website now.
