The International Exposition of Modern & Contemporary Art announces the return of the EXPO ART WEEK, September 14 – 20, 2015. Presented in conjunction with Choose Chicago and the city of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), EXPO CHICAGO is pleased to announce an unprecedented list of major institutional alignments with Chicago's leading organizations, museums and cultural partners set to open during the fourth annual exposition, September 17 – 20, 2015.
“Chicago has always been a true global destination and with the addition of EXPO CHICAGO on the fall arts calendar, our city now boasts one of the must-see art fairs in the world,” said Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Cultural affairs and Special Events Michelle T. Boone. “The incredible cultural institutions and organizations throughout our city are highlighted during EXPO CHICAGO as the City of Chicago urges visitors and residents alike to experience the rich and cast culture that is offered year round.”
With EXPO CHICAGO as the centerpiece, the city’s most prestigious cultural institutions will highlight their unique programming and special events including museum exhibitions; gallery openings; installations; public art projects; music, theater and dance performances; and special dining experiences. This citywide celebration of arts and culture will offer the world’s art enthusiasts, collectors and curators an abundance of opportunity to explore all that Chicago has to offer.
